Bogul Bogul Cafe: Reviews & Ratings
The food is excellent especially the Bo Sam. It’s a bit of a hole in the wall but definitely our favorite Korean restaurant. Price is very reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants especially in Seattle and east side . Bugolgi is $24 while others in Seattle is $36 -$45!! Worth the 30 miles drive! Highly recommended.
My first time dining with friends, they all highly recommended it. The food was AMAZING and the guys working are super on top of everything. We all ordered family style and shared a whole table covered with delicious dishes. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town for sure!
I was craving ramen today but most of them had pork or closed at 12am so this was my 4th place to look if they have soup, no pork, and noodles. It took me 30min drive and it was WORTH IT. The food was delicious, flavorful and spicy just like how I like it. Maybe would love it more if it had more spice but I’m fine with cuz it was delicious. Usually I’m picky so I don’t eat some veggies and tofu but tell me why I ate it? It was that delicious the mushroom where crunchy, tofu flavored, shrimp was good, maybe there was octopus too? The only con for me was the noodles were kinda overcooked or maybe they were cooked while I was driving? All I know is that it was DELICIOUS. Just go order it. also the service was really nice they were cute and helpful. I ordered takeout as it was like 1:05am I believe they close 2am or 1:50am. The only issue I had was it’s too far from me thank you cheif worth the drive.
The food here is amazing! Their kimchi is the best! We ordered the pork bossam, cheese pork ribs, spicy pork soup, fried chicken wings, and seafood pancake. Everything was perfectly crispy and light!
Late-night cravings satisfied! Our guy Carrie took great care of us as my brothers and I set out on a late-night adventure for Korean food. We ordered the seafood bboki, cheese chicken bulgogi, bibimbap, and seafood soft tofu soup — every dish hit the spot! The barley tea was so calming it almost put me to sleep (in the best way). The appetizers were full of flavor, the food came out quickly, and each dish stayed hot from start to finish. Perfect way to end the night! Everything under too! This place will not disappoint
The main dish Pork BoSsam was good. It may be the way the kimchi was made, but it lack a certain deep flavor and tange that I would rather prefer The some of the side dishes are good, but some of the pickled dished tasted off. The Bean sprouts dish have any hint of flavor, like sesame and garlic that makes banchan. If you prefer lighter flavors then this place is for you.
Bogul Bogul has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Federal Way. Every time I visit, the food tastes like true Korean comfort, and this trip was no exception. I ordered the Spam fried rice and the fish cake soup — two simple dishes, but they were done so well. The Spam fried rice was perfectly seasoned, with a great balance of savory flavor and that lightly crisp texture you only get when it’s cooked just right. It felt hearty, satisfying, and honestly kind of nostalgic in the best way. The fish cake soup was the perfect pairing — warm, comforting, and full of flavor without being too salty. The broth tasted clean and rich, and the fish cakes were tender and delicious. The service was friendly, and the food came out fast, which I really appreciate. The whole place has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. If you love comforting Korean food or just need a solid, delicious meal, Bogul Bogul is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back for sure!
They have the best seafood tofu soup. The best banchan as well, the Kim chi is perfect.
